I live in the city and I make music for fun. Tracks I've produced include rap, rock and EDM influence.
None. I can't even read notes. I have a decent musical ear and I go by what sounds good to me.
Soundtrap. It sucks. Hoping to upgrade to Ableton once I save enough money for something that is currently just a hobby.
Keyboard. Everything else is sound designed by me on my DAW.
Currently I've been listening to a lot of Men I Trust. I'd recommend their 2021 LP, "Untourable Album" for a laid-back, dreamy listen with some excellent basslines and ethereal vocals.
Blonde, Punisher, House of Balloons, the Dark Side of the Moon, WLR, Random Access Memories; but it's very hard to choose.
I'm a fan of Carti, Chief Keef, Metro Boomin, the Weeknd, Frank Ocean, FKA Twigs, Young Thug, Phoebe Bridgers, Charli XCX/Sophie, Daft Punk, Seven Lions, Baby Keem, Lana Del Rey, Lady Gaga, Pink Floyd, and more.
I'm still working on refining a trademark sound, but I enjoy incorporating my musical influences in my work. Depending on the day and my mood, my production is completely different, and I strive for an eclectic array of sounds.
I enjoy cooking, reading, making new friends, exploring New York, and playing Mario Kart.
