I originally played bass in a somewhat successful shoegaze band. This ended when I suddenly lost the use of my left arm. The band let me go so I decided to continue on as Zizou2000 making ambient/chillwave/dreamwave/shoegaze music on my computer.
At this time I am limited to my Akai MPK Mini keyboard. Before the situation with my left arm I played bass, guitar and some drumming.
I currently use GarageBand with a bunch of additional plugins to help me create the music in my head.
The only hardware I use is a Akai MPK Mini keyboard.
Right now Boards of Canada hasn't left my playlist in over a month. If I listen to anything else at this time it would be Aphex Twin, Plaid, Spiritualized or Bauhaus.

The Cure, Bauhaus, Ride, The Smiths, Echo & the Bunnyment, Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin, Plaid, Squarepusher, Pele, Tortoise, Tristeza, Sisters of Mercy, Ride, Chapterhouse, Lush, Swervedriver, Pulp, MBV, Sigur Rod, Massive Attack, Fureasteen, Spiritualized, Spacemen 3, Radiohead, Kraftwerk, Slowdive, Adorable, Pixies, The National
I feel my music has elements of ambient, chill wave, shoegaze and electro pop. As I am pretty new to this process of songwriting for electronic based music I don't think I have a definitive sound locked down yet.
Prior to my injury I worked in the printing ink industry and then as a caseworker for a public assistance agency. As of now I am retired and waiting to hear back about long-term disability. If I'm not making music you would likely find me watching soccer.
