Writer, musician, carpenter, student of psychology, smoker, coffee drinker, technogeek... I'm 31 years old and have been remixing music and composing new music for about fifteen years as a hobby, but part of my 2012 resolution is to get serious about it; I dropped two new tracks in January, so I feel like I'm off to a good start.

Nope. Took piano, drum, and bass lessons, and I know musical theory, but I couldn't actually play any of those instruments. I have the ear, but not really the dexterity.

Right now I'm working with Magix Music Maker Production Suite and Ableton Live primarily, although I'm also toying with Acid Pro and a host of free VSTs from all over the place...

Well, I finally have my new laptop, so that's helped immensely. Toshiba 15.6" quad-core with 8GB of DDR3 RAM and a 640GB SATA hybrid SSD/HDD drive, blah blah blah... plenty of technical specs that don't really matter. I'm still somewhat limited by the capabilities of my hardware, but now I pretty much have only myself to blame if I muck something up :-P

Errrrr well that depends... I listen to hardcore gangsta rap if I'm driving; if I'm studying I listen to a lot of dubstep, breakbeat, and DnB... If I'm just hanging out I listen to more laid back electronica like Hol Baumann and the like.

Ummm no. Haven't ever found an album that I actually liked in entirety. Thank the gods for individual track downloads.

Dieselboy, Orbital, NIN, Rammstein, PaNTyRAiD, Pretty Lights, Paper Diamond, Enigma, Hol Baumann... gods... way too many others to list. I'll add to this as I think of them...

I honestly couldn't say. My tracks are sort of along the DnB/breakbeat genres in general, I guess, but I really try to make music that doesn't sound like other people's music.

am pursing my BS in Psychology with an emphasis in Applied Behavioral Analysis, and will later be pursuing my MS in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. To make money I'm a general contractor in the construction/remodeling industry, a freelance technical writer, and a freelance custom-everything guy... custom lighting, sound, car audio, custom paint, custom desktop computers, etc.
