Copasetic One:
I'm from Louisville Ky. and twelve years old when I made my first recording. I've had a love for music my entire life, and it's my number one outlet everytime I need it to be. I'm more of a lyricist than anything else, although I have grown very fond of the producing side of things (recording) over the years. It was hard through out the years to find a site with other like minded individuals that were willing to collaborate like we do here on the Looperman site, as a matter of fact, it was near impossible; I think this is probably the best music community I've ever had the pleasure of being a part of.
I play the electric piano, and I've began teaching myself to play the guitar.
I've used Cakewalk Sonar for years, it's the platform that learned how to record on, I use Sonar X3 mostly, although I'm begining to really like Sonar Platinum. Cakewalk has made great strides in their program development over the years. I also have just about every third party plugin you can think of.
Here recently all I've used is a Yeti Microphone (it's a mic. and interface in one), and my bad ass computers.
When I say everything, I seriously mean, I can find something that I like in every genre of music.
Off the Wall Album, and A.T.Alliens.
Micheal Jackson, Rakim, L.L. Cool J., hell....EVERYBODY FROM THE 90'S. Also, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Chris Stapelton, Chris Cornell, 2Pac, Outkast, UGK, lets not forget all of the soulful sounds of the 70's...Hell this list could go on forever.
I honestly believe that I am the only one that sounds like me. I've heard some people compare my music to other artist over the years. But I think I keep it pretty original sounding.
My only problem is tying to figure out what genre of music do I truly fit into.
I paint houses :)
