LOGIC PRO is my DAW of choice until I can save up and get pro tools. I have NI KONTAKT, ABSYNTH, FM8, MASSIVE, REAKTOR, BATTERY, SYLENTH, MASCHINE, NEXUS, VANGUARD. Thats pretty much my VST library. plus a bunch of plug-ins for editing.

I draw inspiration from many different artists so I'll just name the genres I like the most. GOSPEL, R&B, JAZZ, SALSA, HIP HOP, POP, SOUNDTRACKS, CLASSICAL. some bands I like include Fred Hammond's band, Israel Houghton and New Breed, Muse, Robert Glasper and the Experiment, Stevie Wonder, La Sonora Ponceña, The Cocaine80s, Black Keys, Tower of Power. the list goes on.
