I was born to an avid singer of a father and a meticulously driven mother. Throughout my upbringing, I was exposed to great gospel/soul singers such as Al Green, Patti Labelle, and Sam Cook. Throughout my teenage years I discovered a love for pop music and musical theatre. All of these elements led to a culmination of a sensually soulful voice paired with an intense love for performance and a need to establish a divine connection with audience members. Through my artistry, I try to show that my work is about the music, the passion and the soul.

In my work (both musically and visually) I am influenced by current artists such as Frank Ocean, John Legend, Justin Timberlake, Usher and Beyonce.

I honestly don't know... I enjoy combining genres and experimenting with different types.
