Description : First track I ever mixed, on a demo of Sony Acid before I bought it. The vocal is a clip my mom accidentally recorded on a digital camera when she was taking a photo. Most of the other loops (maybe all) are from Dj4Real.

Description : A sparse, spacious song about childhood summers in Illinois.

Heavy use of a couple of Dj4Real's pads, a Bols loops by Ensam, some guitar loops from here that no longer seem to be around, plus some sound fx and a few other sweet sounds I found.

Description : This piece is about breaking free of the cage, cooperating with others to create a satisfying career path instead of being a wage slave. I used a lot of free fx samples ("arrows flying"). I love finding the musical qualities in things people don't necessarily consider musical. Also features Heaven Speed by Dj4Real.

Description : Vocal is from an mp3 of RedKn1ght reading a poem he wrote for me about a bottle of rainwater. Kind of like a rainstorm itself, this one starts off with soft drops, builds to a heavier downpour, peaks with some lightening streaks, hangs out for a while, then slowly fades away, leaving you clean and refreshed. :)

Description : RedKn1ght supplied the bass loop, which I layered on top of itself (but using different effects on each track of it). The vocal is me, reading part of a Pablo Neruda poem. In a sewer. Just kidding, that's reverb. Though emotionally, I was kind of in a sewer when I was working on this. It's a song about hidden things, like unrequited love. And cancer.

Description : Wanted to play with some sounds that had a more acoustic feel, a little Latin flavor. This is what I came up with at the teahouse one evening.

Description : Inspired by Jean-Jacques Perry, this uses synth clips to create a melody. Would like to make it longer and even more complex at the end, using four or six synth loops at a time to really weave a thicker fabric, but I haven't had a chance to work on it since my surgery, so what the heck, here it is, not quite finished.
