Description : This song was inspired by my impatience in waiting for people to respond to me in today's current culture of communication compared to the days we could walk next door and just ask our friends to come out and play... I realize that I can't stop being me and doing my thing while waiting on other people, and this song is a reflection of that realization, moving from a place of bitterness about it, ending in a place of thankfulness, realizing it is my own fault if I am frozen waiting on other people.

Description : This is a song I wrote in memory of my mom, Elaine Severns. The instrumental music was written before she passed away on January 1, 2006, and she specifically asked about it while I played it at home one day and said she really liked it. The words came soon after she passed, and I sang it with my bro, Bobby Severns, at her funeral.

Description : I wrote this track starting with a rhythm idea I beat out on a countertop at work one day and a melody I started humming soon after. The name & lyrical concept came to me instantly, being about a man's desire to kiss a girl he is very much into, while at the same time not wanting to move too quickly to say the big three words, "I love you." ... Description : This track has a strong Michael Jackson influence overall, but mixes hip hop, techno, R&B, and alternative sound to create a unique sound. The song is about realizing things will get better the more you retrain your mind to focus on the good things in life.

Description : This track is a worship song... I recorded this one in a pitch dark room after I just lost a place to live and was in the 9th or 10th month of having no vehicle, having to jog or ride my bike 4 miles to and from work everyday. Tough time, but the song helped me get into God's presence to get through it all. My friend Ron King co-wrote lyrics & some of the melody for the song.

Description : This is an R&B/Hip Hop track with sweet harmonies, written in reflection of seeing really sweet girls changing & selling themselves short... Then, me doing the same by the way I looked at them.

Description : This is a hip hop track that resulted from my first time creating a rhythm & bass track with my old Boss Dr. Groove DR-202, then adding some synths & piano using my E-MU Proteus 2000 module. My friend Jonny Rice [J-Rice] wrote the raps for the verses & we worked on the chorus melody & words together. It's about doing your part in battling the evils of "envy."

Description : This is an upbeat pop track about how each person in a relationship makes the other person a better person and how they deserve each other to lift each other up. I wrote it specifically about my relationship with God, but it can be about a relationship with a significant other as well.

Description : This is an R&B track about the hope we can get knowing we will get to see someone soon, even if we miss them right now. The first verse is about missing a girl while I'm out working my butt off; The 2nd verse reflects on me missing my friend Chris who passed away at age 24 to cancer; And the bridge is about the ultimate hope of seeing our Creator & Savior one day.

Description : This is an R&B Ballad. I wrote this song in 2006 about a girl I loved. She was going through a lot, and I wanted her to know that I wanted to be the one to be there for her. This was what came about.

Description : I wrote this song in 2004 and it is on the Voyces for UNHCR benefit ablum for the United Nations Commissioner for Refugees released by CrazyBaby Records. It's kind of a Rock/R&B tune that ends up having an early 2000s Santana feel to it during the bridge.
