Description : Love and respect goes to Patricia Edwards who gave me inspiration to do something with this acapella.
Never mind the guitar solo at the end, It doesn't sound right and I got bored and just left it there..

Sweet....Don't have to do much, to make the 1st Lady of soul on this site
sound good....What a Voice...One of Gods Angels...You don't get a voice
like that for nothing...Only the Chosen Few...Now she is in training here
on earth but when it is her turn, she will sing for all of Heaven with
those that have gone before her....
Man...I can hear the love that went into making this as good as it is...
Real good Job...Honourable and Flavourful...
Where in the heck was I when this single came out???? Slaps head. This is just so beautifully awesome I don't know what to say. You have done VERY well here my friend.
Would it be ok to download it and upload it to my profile?
WOW - this would have been a number 1 hit in 1962. Incredibly well mixed. The guitar solo at the end works for 1968 and actually works if the genre is more referential. Loved it - well done - a hit!
Hi Clindsay and thanks for your comment.. I uploaded it as a Chill out cos I didn't know what genre it is, maybe soul or something like that.. Ha a number 1 hit!! Thanks..
I think I gave the minxing 1 Hour or something like that, From start to finish and uploading if I remember right was about 5 or 6 hours..
Hey this is an incredible track! Listened to it from start to finish! Honestly, there's nothing wrong with the guitar solo towards the end. You have done extremely well with the vocals. EXCELLENT JOB!!!
hey ! from beyond of this monitor , my thumb up as like & respects bith to U who We're his guest for listening such a welldone track . good job . looperman has no many traX in such style.best wishes.___Behnam
This is beautiful!
I think the solo sound is OK: I understand you may want to have it sounding "bigger" but I think the current one is better suited for this "old school" track.
Outstanding work!
Loved.
Ciao, Domenico
PS: I would like to have a "slower" fade out in the end, twice or three time the length of the current one. You cannot end this wonderful piece of music so "abruptly" :-)
Hi Domenico and thanks for the comment. Naa not bigger sound but a little more feel to it, it sound so stiff.. well the damage is done and I just leave it like it is.. Next project will be better. Thanx for the tip about the fading,I will have that in mind in my future projects.
nice work my friend. I love the sound sort of a female version of simply red in some ways. or maybe not..I have a cold and I took Nyquill! But I did like it.
Steve
Hi Steve and thanks for your comment.. yea it must be your cold and the nyquill you took.. But maybe it sounds just a little bit like his style.. If you don't know me by now tra la la la laaa... That song, same tempo and groove almost.
This is a beautiful sort of pop song! Patricia's vocals are always top notch, and you've made a great bed for them to lie in! Awesome guitar work, I thing the telecaster suits this song very well! Very cool organ part too, gives it just a touch of reggae I think! In my opinion the mix sounds excellent! Some more mastering could possibly enhance it, but not necessary. A good non destructive compromise would be to just normalize it. I like to normalize to like -.5 to -.3 dB. It will of course raise the noise floor, but not as much as a limiter would, and it doesn't sound like you have too much noise going on. Just a thought. Thanks for the great morning listen!
Hi Spivkurl thanks for your comment and all the mixing tips but mixing music is not my thing.. Tumbleweed gave me tips too and said he would help me with my next project.. And if you're up to it I could send you a copy too to work with, just let me know.
Wow, I just replied to two of your comments and clicked on 'tracks' and up pops this little jewel! An absolute beauty, all around, and what's wrong with that guitar solo! I thinks it's great...Leave it in. Drums are good, too. Patricia, well, what can you say that hasn't already been said.
Thanks Scott.. All my tracks are jewels..lol
The thing with the git is the sound and the feel of it. I used my Telecaster and should've picked my Stratocaster or maybe my Steinberger with humbuckers to get a thicker sound.
Thanx monsterage.. At first I was planning to record a new geetar but I changed my mind. At least it's in the right key..
Oh the 80's And I was going for that old sound from the 50's-60's....
Hi Soulkettle and thanx for your comment.. Yes it's right up my street too, It is a bit different from what i use to play (reggae). But it is fun to try out new ways to play music.
Hey Peter...I`d be happy to help you make some noise any time....Love those old Marvin Gaye, Al Gren et all songs...I dont always get it right but if I can lend a hand just hit me up when you have something that you are working on...keep on...Ed
Hi crucethus and thanx for your comment. I'm working on a new solo and writing a new sound to my Boss GT-100. Going for a mor soft approach, Less is more and If I put some feel into it,it might sound better.
Hi Baggadub...I was referring the the overall track volume...but I`m really reluctant to suggest you change anything (we all have gain controls on whatever we use to listen)...I really dislike those mixes that have been nailed with brick wall limiting to the point of killing the natural dynamics....You could try a mix with a soft knee compressor on the master bus at about -3dBs of gain (try a threshold of -10, attack around 20-30ms,& auto gain makeup...Follow with a master limiter that has a preset for cd audio..or just set it so you get a few dBs of gain without disortion)....or better yet...dont do anything...I probably should have skipped that comment as you really have done a super job on the music and that is what counts........If you would like me to bump it up a bit for you without screwing up your dynamics just use my contact button & I`ll tell you my email.....Those really loud tracks you see here once in a while with the flat edges (like a ruler) mainly in the dance genres are dynamically dead....I crindge when I listen....Its good like it is....Keep on.....Ed
Thanx Ed.. I just leave it like it is, But maybe you could help me mix the next song if you are willing and have the time. At the moment I don't work on any but having plans to do a "Marvin Gaye" cover or something like that, but the problem is I can't sing that well, or I'm afraid to hear my own voice..
Classic old time tune which never tires...a really good production however I would have liked more guitar solo somewhere in the middle just to break up the singing...nice stuff!
Hi srbrown7 and thanx for your comment. Yea that would be great with more guitar but I don't have the guts to cut up Patricias work. But maybe If I'll find the right acapella with a 16 bars of silence it could happend.
Stunning work I am on my second play as I am just amazed...so amazed with what you have done :) Loved it faved it and after this comment downloading it :)
Hi beerling1970 and thanx for your comment. I'm glad you like my track. It is good to hear that people like my music, it gets me inspired to do some more..
Do you have this in two separate files? Meaning the vocals an instrumental? I'd like to play around with it maybe add somethings if you don't mind. You can email me at mrbbelle@gmail.com
Take a bow you two....Baggadub....this is a fine shade of chilled blue....I`m sitting here listening with a big smile on my face...I`ll be grabbing a dl for some more listens...superb job...The mix could be pumped up a bit but good music trumps little things like that every time....Congrats....Ed
Hi Tumbleweed and thanx for your comment. Do you mean that the volume is to low on the track or just some parts? I got another comment refering to that, Mixing is'nt my strongest side. At least I put a big smile on your face..
Absolutely loved it, Baggadub! Really, really nice job on this track. I could tell this was not sequenced. Just sounded far too real -- soulful. Makes me think I should never have sold my guitar and bought this computer.
I think Patricia would be really happy with what you've done.
Hi Enzotic and thanx for your comment.. Oh you think the volume is to low? Yes maybe it is cos I got another comment saying almost the same. Next track I'll pump it up..
Hi Pepskii and thanx for your comment. Acoustic I don't know about but
I recorded this track with:
Fender Jazz bass
Fender American deluxe Telecaster
Roland TD 12 KX Drums
Nord electro 4D
But the live feel is there..
Hi danke and thanx for your comment. When I record my music I play from the first bar to the last one in 1 take, Even if it takes like 57 takes to record the bass line to nail it, and try not to cut to much because I think the dynamic and feel will be lost.
i havent been here long so apologies to all those who do upload styles that are not as mentioned but thats just the impression i have been getting. thanks
Description : Sounds of the sea and trippy acidy washes with a cool beat and some live acoustic guitar. Written in Cubase with live guitar and keys etc. The sound of the sea and birds was recorded on the beach where I used to live. After moving to the city one sunny day I was telling stories to a friend about living by the sea and started making this track.
Description : This improv recorded a few years ago powered my interest even further than I expected.....recorded using tc electronics pedal and tascam studio recorder and a Fender Squier tele electric....
Description : I used some new "Anthem" pickups from L.R. Baggs on my Martin acoustic to see how it performed, and it definitely beat my expectations. Captured the sound perfectly as I needed.
Anyhoo, this song is almost a prayer, hence the repetitiveness of the verses. As Christians, we believe that God will one day return and take away every suffering and all evil for good; in that regard, this song is almost one of waiting too. Very simple, with vocal harmonies and whatnot. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it. Made in 13 hours.
Someone else wrote the words, I was just inspired to use them. I only added the "Yeah" and "Amen."
Description : This is a track off of one of my EP's I dropped last year. It is based on True events. Sometimes when people finally take a second in life to slow down and breathe in..... The oxygen is deflated and it's too late. Take your time people, because time is what differs a good decision over a bad one. Life is precious!

Description : So a guy buys a nice guitar at a pawn shop but returns it a few days later after waking from a sound sleep to hear it playing by itself. When he tells of his experience he is shocked to learn the owner had actually died while playing it. Is it fantasy or truth? Is the guitar in this track that very same guitar? Its all part of the mystery and fun of Halloween !
EDIT: modified ending to a deeper voice
Description : This track describes a magical state that I experienced a long time ago. Maybe you also know the feeling that you can't describe something like this with words ... luckily we have the music for it!
Description : So this is my first Chill Outish track. I was just trying something new and then suddenly this was a thing. Everything you hear is home made. I hope you enjoy. - Mr. Spook'd
Description : That's something i worked out lately
a swing 3/4 hip hop Chill ?? Don't know how to describe this kind of music.
Anyway VOICE NEEDED

Description : A progressive journey incorporating deep ambient chillout, swing jazz, hip hop, d'n'b, trance and a slight touch of acid with a thousand ninjas battling in space. Features a great deal of my lead slide resonator guitar playing. Also a whole load of synths, programmed acoustic drum kits and manipulated drum loops, big basslines, regular electric guitar, vocoded guitar parts and bass guitar (distorted right at the end). If you like deep chill, far out soaring beauty, fat beats and 170 BPM uplifting slide trance controlled mayhem, you might just get into this. In my heaven there is an endless supply of honey mangoes (an exquisite beauty of the fruit world) and even more slide guitar. A 1,000-year-long version of this track plays there on a loop (long enough not to get bored of it) but here I offer you the Earthly 11 min version. You must be very good to be accepted into my heaven to hear the full thousand year version so best start now. It may be heaven's main theme tune but it's not above criticism so feel free to let me know what you think of it. Maybe you prefer the soundtrack in hell. I hear it's pretty badass...
