Description : I used a few loops from a loopmasters pack called "back to the old school" and built some sounds around them to create 3 little tracks. Then i smoked a fat one! (which was nice)

This could be a track in an old game or similar. I get the vibes from running around as a "saboteur" and getting hunted by dogs and the evil policeman while trying to arm bombs on buildings... But that's maybe just me :)
Well, I guess I'm enjoying this, but I've got to say that the late nineties were my least favorite time EVER for electronic music. So listening to this style I have to wonder about it's popularity. It must be partly a UK thing I'm guessing. In that era I was listening to jazz records and folk cassettes in dark studio apartments. My impression of that time in music is this - a bunch of people who forgot how to use real synthesizers, and hadn't learned how to use computers yet. Not meaning to be insulting at all of course, I'm just going over things in my head trying to figure out what happened back then. Thinking back, I can't think of much for decent electronic music between 96 and 2000... thinking of "The Process" and "The Fragile". You shouldn't take me too seriously, as I've never set foot in a club with a DJ in my life.
Yeah I used to wonder why so many of my friends all wanted to listen to old school stuff when there was so much better new stuff about but after a while (and being dragged out to a few nights) it kind of grew on me so I thought i'd try and recapture that early ninetys sound. I think personally that there was a lot of great stuff out there at that time such as leftfield, aphex twin, orbital, the prodigy, the chemical brothers and so on. The 90's was a really good time in my life so it's nice to revisit those old sounds as it brings back fond memories for me.
Anyway, cheers for dropping by as always man. Your thoughts are appreciated.

Cheers Chris but it's as you said "just putting sounds on lines" The bulk of the track is just loops so I wont take too much credit (getting lazy in my old age)
Cheers

Cool track...Yep that's what it was, then looking at it now the music today
is still not that far away...
It's still about the bass drum drop and efx moving in and out with a simple
bass line...
I was looking for a moog sound to come in with a maaaad solo, but this
is very cool and well done....Nice one...FR
Thanks, I suppose I could try and put a moog solo on it but since I just pencil everything in it's really time consuming doing solo's. Maybe one day i'll get a decent keyboard and learn how to play it.
Thanks for dropping in and leaving your opinion.

Nice track mate! In the beginning I hear a little dub sounds in there. Definitely something for the dance floor. You never disappoint! Once again great track and thanks for the listen!
Thanks mate. I basically just picked some loops I liked and built around them so I won't take too much credit.
Glad you could stop by and leave your thoughts.

Thanks. It is a good pack of loops. Normally there's only a few loops in a pack that I actually like but this one I like pretty much all of them so it was a good score.

niice, basslines are definitely sweet, my favourite one starts from about 3:38. still I see your work more as an experimental compilation of loops than a fully realised 10 min long track. I am curious about your inspirations on the electro retro-styled tracks/sets like this - I really like older music.
I enjoyed this one. Alex
Thanks Alex. I used to make everything from scratch but I was pretty limited in what I could do so I started using loops to add some flavours that I can't make with FL. It's hard to say who my influences are as I like so much different music. It's just a case of finding something I like the sound of and then "trying" to paint around it.
I'm glad you could drop in and leave your thoughts.

Description : I have been using LooperMan for practice for some time now. This my most recent track. The only loop in the song is BabyGee's vocals. Free to download and if you repost tag me so I can share it as well.
Description : A psychedelic techno cello epic. It's not really techno as it's only 110 BPM but something like that (eg breakbeat), with lots of banging beats and arpeggiated acid synths, plus a whole load of my layered cello playing techniques. There aren't that many synths used but they do a lot of work and are carefully automated. No guitar. Drums are mostly a lot of drum loops, supported by a few programmed acoustic drumkits. Very busy and complicated with loads of different sections (funky, chilled, fast, heavy) that make up a constantly progressing trip. I don't know if there's any other cello music like this so let me know if you think there is. Interesting feedback appreciated - criticism, praise, ideas etc. Enjoy...
Description : Summer type dance track, for those precious 2 weeks off, if you can get them! Made around a selection of different loops and some keys from me.
Description : Inspired by an experimental percussion piece I heard. Rhythmic ticking builds into pounding beats and heavy soundscapes. I haven't done any mixing or mastering yet so tell me what you think. Any and all comments are welcome.
Description : A song about a damaged soul. Sadly, based on a true story. Gorgeous loops here are by Hardstyle Rythm, Aboe, and Princess Hollywood. All basslines by that fiendish genius Rasputin. Take a bow, gentlemen
Description : Pretty basic dance track. Was experimenting with the Falcon synth plugin, hence the name. Instrumentation for the melody lines might be a bit unusual, more orchestral. Vocoder is from the Icarus synth plugin, a great new instrument.
Description : Hello everyone here's a song from my album anymore that really is near and dear to my heart I hope you guys and enjoy it and never let anyone bring you down or tell you that you are good enough!
