Description : Vocals written and recorded by myself using Ableton and Izotope Nectar. Music written and remixed by cdk.
First song I've written in a few months, and although it's very rough around the edges, I think it sounds okay.
Not quite sure which genre to put this in, though a couple of people have mentioned pop, so I'll go with that.

MP,
This song has a serene soothingness to it. Heart felt quality vocal performance on this one, bravo.
Do I hear Celtic influence? Definitely.
I looked for lyrics but I guess you didn't post them.
The ending is very abrupt and in my opinion, the song could have been longer with a gentle fade out to match the serenity produced by this track.
Pop was probably the best choice for genre because I don't see Celtic Ambient Fusion in the drop down menu lol.
Fav'd. Top marks. I would rather hear this when I turn on my radio than some of the stuff coming out these days.
Mark.
Thank you! And likewise, I sometimes find myself preferring the rough edged amateur music over the highly polished radio offerings.
Regarding the music, it was pre-recorded by another artist ans simply ended that way, and I just rolled with it.
And the track is unfinished all round really, so the lyrics aren't properly formed, and that was simply down to the fact that the track ended so abruptly. But I enjoyed it enough to put it in my scrap book, so to speak.
And Celtic influence? It wasn't a conscious effort, but I'll go with that :)
The instrumental isn't something I'd normally listen to, but your vocals complement this track really nicely, making it a great listen. I love the difference in vocal styles, like for example how 1:50 sounds so different from 2:12. You have a great voice.
I did notice though that the mic doesn't sound very good, which is a shame. And I would have liked an end that was less abrupt. But this is a really good song, and I think you really made it shine. Great work.
Thank you, the change in vocal styles is something I do consciously, so it's really nice for me that you've picked up on it.
And you're absolutely right about the equipment. I was using the mic that came with the Focusrite Scarlett solo bundle -and my mixing/mastering skills were even poorer than they are today- in a space that wasn't suitable for vocals, and some of the results were horrendous...
Apologies for the late reply, but thanks again for the great feedback.
Mate! Sounds like a bloody Aussie gobbing out slurs, and it has a great effect on the song. It also sounds very frantic as if the melody and rhythm are fast paced to juxtapose the capital theme of "taking all my time".
So plenty of underlying concepts embedded in this track which is why I love it.
It's not something I started to do purposely, but the 'slur' effect has definitely evolved slightly over time, and I guess it fits in well with the overall theme.
Appreciate you stopping by and listening and taking the time out to comment :)
Electro pop may be? no matter! is it necessary to always classify all?
your song is unique (unfinished too) and the most important is that Everything works marvelously: vocals, melody, instruments, arrangments
it's really cool to hear it! sometimes i have the impression to recognize coldplay
And it definitely is a little unfinished, but I kind of like it that way sometimes. Usually these songs are just a scrap book of ideas, and hopefully I'll get round to bringing them up to spec one day.
And thanks for stopping by to listen and comment, much appreciated :)
Splendid composition and amazing vocals...truly a pleasant surprise to my ears. Yet is seems unfinished and it would be nice to hear complete version when it's done !:)
I wish I could take credit for the music, but that was someone else. It's a great piece of music though, and I'm just pleased I didn't ruin it with my vocals.
Thanks for stopping by and listening and taking the time out to comment, much appreciated.
I wasn't really sure about the genre either while listening but it does feel like pop music. Your tone and the music all suggest that to my ears. Love the reverb but wondering what kind of mic you used. Keep up the good work.
I think you're right, it does have a slight pop feel to it.
And the mic is just a cheap condenser mic that was bundled with the Scarlett solo, although I've used Izotope Nectar =- which I should put in the description to be fair.
And thanks for listening :)

Description : This one has been sitting on my computer for a bit now but didn't really like it. My friends say it can use some vocals and I think that is what this one needs. If there is anyone who wants to put some vocals on this, send me an email at .magic41151@yahoo.com. or post below. Thanks for tuning in and have a great day!
Description : Based on excellent track by BradoSanz (nothing compares instrumental). I've added an intro, many sliced up vocals, audio effects, and some electric guitar. Includes loops: Holly's Within your soul, and 40A's Unstoppable.

Description : This is for Spearcarrier and her beautiful voice....
It is Pop but also a bit country in here. Produced over a time frame of 2 Weeks at spring this year. Update: I did a remaster with some tubes in the chain.

I've upgraded my equipment a little, so hopefully I can avoid issues like this in the future.
Pleased you enjoyed it despite that fact :)
Thanks for sopping by and listening all those months ago :)
It's always nice to be mentioned in the same sentence as an actual singer :)
Otherwise, feel free to change it however you please. Would love to hear anything you do :)
