Description : 11/16/20 Updated mix by Danke.
I was very inspired by Danke's track called "SOMETIMES". It spoke to my inner soul gal. :-) I really love the roughness in my voice, although it didn't really give me what I thought I needed being I had just woke up, but I guess it worked out here. Enjoy.
Ms Patricia, first let me say I sincerely hope things are good with you and your family in these really difficult times. When I saw you had done a song with Danke, well two of Looperman's finest artists together can only mean one thing - pure unadulterated magic.
Danke is just so talented, and then you place your magnificent vocals in the mix and well, the result is nothing less than spectacular.
Well done. Beautiful work as always. You never disappoint. Stay safe and all my best. Mrs. Bear sends her love as well (she loved this one as well). I hope all is well.
Yay *\O/* Mr. Bear! It's so good to hear from you again.
And I am glad Mrs. Bear and yourself enjoyed it. :-)
Things are well here.
Danke has some really good things going on!
I really enjoyed working on this. Thank you.
Be well well Mr. Bear.
I don't usually comment on songs that are made for my musical basics but this is the exception that strengthens the rule ... :-)
when I wrote the review, I was thinking of a potential hit from this song, with vocals ... the version you made became much more than a hit (thankfully) ... you conjured a deep, emotionally imbued, almost epic gospel-soul song here...
you are the only singer (for now) after the voices of Pete Tebar are ailing, producing a quality that I don't deserve ... but luckily you love to sing and you can ... it makes many of us happy ... God keep your good habit. .. :-)
dear patricia and danke: damn you opened up the ballad receptor in my brain thats been empty for ages, wow. i love this songcraft, taking a familiar form and totally inhabiting it, there’s some kind of instinctual response we get from these sounds. Patricia your voice is so primal it sends my cat up the tree you have the razor’s edge in your perf. Danke is in top form, the music isn’t just a vehicle here, it really channels right into the listeners sensorium.
bravos and bumps all around for this wonderful collab.
Nice track, pretty vocals and harmonies, I count it 6/8 about 160 bmp (one interpretation anyway). If you upload it I may do something with it. Would be fun to get out of "straight 8" :)
Now that's a soulful track! Great melody line. There were flashes of Diana and a bit of the Shirelles coming through for me.
I agree that the mix needs some refinement and I think I'd adjust the EQ (maybe a couple of different EQs) and and some judicious reverb on your lead vocal.
Didn't sound like the lead vocal part was doubled. I'd definitely experiment with layering two or three takes on the lead vox to thicken it up even more.
The harmony in the chorus parts was really nice. And the very high vocal lines you did in those sections was pretty much perfect.
This is the kind of music I love. And you do it really well, Patricia. Thank-you.
Aw, thank you for the kind words.
And the help...but, unfortunately the mixing and such is not my expertise.
I am certainly open to all the help I can get. :-)
Danke is the man. Awesome track! Full of powerful emotion! Definitely working those vocals chords! Magical! Sublime! Your so talented. I know its all from that musical soul of yours. U undoubtedly love love music!
Description : you wanted me to sing again (thanks Manuela, Rita, Angel)
this is everything ive got guys, stepped up on everything, especially vocal and production, i almost didn't realise it was me :)) this ones for the ladies
lyrics are up if you want to sing along
Description : This is my little 16-bar sketch of a Soul-style track... my purpose in making this was to experiment with Melda's MDynamicEQ, which allows you to remove resonances, and to apply EQ's from one track to another. I even EQ'd this thing to sound like a 70's jam.
Description : Here is another track we are currently working on for my forthcoming album, "Songs from the Closet, Vol.1"
Ed Cunningham was gracious enough to provide this composition to me for which I'm grateful. It's a groovy track and the lyrics, for the most part, wrote themselves. My project co-producer and I are working out the vocal arrangement. As per usual, this track isn't mixed. I repeat, it is a rough vocal and isn't mixed. I hope you enjoy the listen!
Description : Mark (mtking) made a remix of this one, I added some new vocals and then made his mix worse again... hope you'll like this version!
Kudos to Mark for a great job and for sticking with me and believing in me. You da man!
Description : "The Light of My Soul," written and produced by Richard Shekari, is a devout worship song that celebrates the transformative power of Jesus Christ. The lyrics express profound gratitude for divine intervention and salvation, highlighting the personal journey from despair to fulfilment through Christ's love.
Description : This song is a work of my late big brother RIP., Who happen to be a gifted poet-songwriter. I did the vocal as well as the music based on written notation witch, he always provided for his productions. Hope this song is appreciated. Going to redo in the future.
Description : I actually love the slight imperfections in the muzic, the slight imperfections in the vocals. As long as it’s ok with nln1 I will allow downloads, but even then I would prefer a better mix. For now, enjoy Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel.
I would be willing to send the accapella if you are willing to play in same key, same tempo, some similar version as here. Just message me. :-)

Your inspiration was just what I needed!
Thank you for sharing with US! :-)
bravos and bumps all around for this wonderful collab.
Sorry about your cat. Hehe :-)
Challenge accepted! :-)
And if I can have the last one you did without the sweet guitar work that’d be cool. :-)
