Hello Chris, when I heard this song I felt like I was floating through a boundless space, carried by the tones! Fantastic! There's really something unreal epic about it. Great work. Since you survived Christmas without any damage *smile, I wish you and your loved ones a Happy New Year as well. Greetings Manuela
Ha yes, thank you very much, survived new year too! Was in bed by 11 pm, not much of a party animal these days. Appreciate your ears Manuela, my regards and hope 2023 treats you well. Chris.
funnily enough, I sent this track to Pseudoble (Ian) and he said exactly the same thing. I'd never heard them but checked them out, pretty cool. Thanks a lot, love your music by the way...
the track is epic, the encouragement and sense of comradery here in the comments is beautiful! i love what im hearing and seeing and feeling and hugs bruh much love to all u musical fucks :)
Hi Jonathon, thanks a lot. Well you know the source material was pretty cool. But admittedly, when I hit upon the combination of the two treated guitar tracks I thought it sounded pretty nice. Happy New Year!
I love the ol Shoegaze. My Bloody Valentine, Cocteau Twins, Ride, Jesus & Mary Chain, SLowdive, Lush & so on. I even wanted to make shoegaze when I first started making music. Then I realized the shoegaze sound, that wall of delay, echo & feedback, was created by the relationship between amplifiers & the space they were in. Doing that on a computer seemed a rather daunting proposition.
This track definitely has that "wall of sound thing going on" as to be in the shoegaze neighborhood. SO good job there.
Late getting back to you sorry! Yeah, I never knew of that music under that genre/name, but liked a lot of the bands you mention and which probably fell under that umbrella. Not so hard to get good guitar sounds with the virtual amp software etc available now. I think you'd have to be a purist or a professional to still be using mic'd amp cabinets?
chris, you crazy zootman look what you’ve done! turns coal into diamonds just in time for xmas! you are dear and generous and expansive mate! och hell.
ha, no way, soon as I heard that original track of yours (at least a year or more ago) I loved its mood of gentle melancholy and regret. I knew I wanted to do something with it, but singing didn't work. So this, after all that time, is what we've ended up with. I'm just glad you like it. Hope you're not freezing over there!! Happy new year bro.
Staring at your shoes....look where they've gotten you so far. In the movie Kundun, the Dalai Lama, at different points of his life, is shown looking down at his shoes. That would be a good reason I suspect.
Thanks a lot, I appreciate that comment very much. I spent a bit of time on the drums. I'm sure I don't need to tell someone like you about production cause you're way ahead of me, but I wanted them to kind of lead it and sound big. So I double tracked them, put some automated light flange on one to try to get a bit of movement, along with the usual compression and EQ and on the other I put on D16 Frontier limiter cranked so it distorted a little, and blended them together. That's pretty hi tech for me!!
waka waka, thank you very much zootman, i´m observing you for the last 2 years. i really love your style of producing. Paint a picture is not a song in my opionion it i a certain feeling/mood that is not decribed by words. i´m looking for a collab, if you got time in 2023. i played 3 years indie band (they still rocking around europe ) i was offered 2 recording contracts. but they all want to make money in this digital world. i want to be an indipendent artist, not an Tik Tok icon.
You're right there, not really a song. You should check out some of stokes's other work, particularly the tracks he's been doing lately. I almost don't think of them as music myself, they're as much theatre or drama as anything else.
I haven't actually done a great deal of collaboration, for one thing I struggle to get any time for doing my own thing. But I'm definitely open to giving something a go. Still going to be busy with the tyranny of 'work' in the New Year. Actually I'll be about as far away from anything as it is possible to be for all of January, heading down to one of NZ's subantarctic islands! Then things won't really slow down until autumn. But you're welcome to hit me up anyway. I really like your vox and lyrics, they made quite an impression on me when I first heard them. Definitely inspiring. so keep at it my friend!
nice remix Chris, real relaxing and peaceful, nothing better than gazing up at the stars bro. not seen Mike about for sometime now hope he's all good, have a great time over Christmas

Description : Hey guys! Something different this time. I pulled from my teenage angst for this. As well as listening to a lot of indie artists, Ryan caraveo being my favorite. Let me know what you guys think! I know this one isn't going to be too popular but hope you guys like it! I feel like it might be a little bass heavy but tell me what you guys think!
Description : To me this sounds like a late night jam when everyone in the band but the drummer is half toasted and things could fall apart any second. Funnily enough that's pretty much what it is only I'm the band. One take on guitars vocals and bass, minimal edits. Could be a complete mess could be not. Either way happy if you let me know.
Description : This track is a collaboration with another Looperman member, Salve Clements, a very talented vocalist from Australia. Salve wrote the lyrics and composed and recorded the vocal melody and lyrics.
In working on the mix, I simply wasn’t able to achieve a proper balance in the overall sound. So, I got some help from Wytse Gerichhausen of White Sea Studio in the Netherlands. He was able to fix the problems I had created and got it sounding the way I had hoped it would.
Description : sticking with Cyberflares, hope this is a surprise Robin, as an artist i believe certain tracks are made for you and this is one off them
his track Smacking Hard he posted as rap,
bro this was so more powerful than rap, this smacks hard :))
Description : You need some emotions? Then you are just right here! I am not sure what kind of feelings you will get but i am sure you will get some intense ones. -- Older track that some how got lost in the looperversum. But here it is again --
Description : In 2017 my little cousin took his own life. My entire family blamed themselves for it. Never questioning what he was going through or what he may have been feeling. For a long time, I wanted to create a song where I put myself in the shoes of someone hurting. This song has a long way to go before it's finished. I wanted to share what I have thus far in hopes it inspires me to finish it.
Description : Now out as part of an EP on Spotify, iTunes and all the other ones. Thanks for all your encouragement, it means the world to me!
==========================
This particular poem consists of two 1000 year old Japanese "renga", short "word flowers" about the autumn rains. They inspired me... and I hope you will like them too.
Description : found a couple loops by bradosanz and made an indie rock track. let me know what you think in the comments, especially ways i could improve it or if you like it. thanks!
Description : I tried an indie rock / songwriter etc. track, trying new genres.
Haven't posted in a while but just wanted to hear feedback here!
It's also out of Spotify and YouTube and Apple Music and Soundcloud for anyone who wants to listen.
Description : Made this a few months back but just added some vocals - well a few different ones : )
Like the sound but as track it still lacks a bit of structure
Feedback welcome
Michael makes good music and how you complemented it,
together makes a very nice beat
Happy New Year to you My friend! I hope you have a wonderful year ahead!
