Great lyrics man, read them on the page as I did the second listen. Excellent work my friend. To thine self be true is the saying isn't it? Good luck with the recording.

I was reading your response to dimestop's comment and started thinking about our individual take and approach on songwriting/song topics. A lot of great singer/songwriters preach to be true to your own path, no matter where it takes you, as long as it feels right to you. I say sing about whatever make you feel you are doing the right thing inside your musical heart.

In a lot of my songs, the character is always down on his luck or in a bad situation, making bad decisions and getting into some kind of mischief. Life isn't perfect so write about it, right? It's relatable.

Liked the lyrics, well done!

yeah i agree Wayne, life isn't perfect so writing about the imperfections gives the listener an outlet to relate to. and yeah i try to stay true to myself when writing/singing because the last thing i want to be to the world and to myself is a false idol. i appreciate the comment Wayne.

i was expecting this bro, you didn't disappoint. great writing and a cool delivery Randall, the female backing is sic too. nice music all round talking honest and hard issues, i like people that tackle these subjects, im not sure if its biographical to you but i expect you've had your moments bro, top work strong subject matter, very well done

thanks dimestop! I've been practicing my delivery on the mic and I'm slowly getting better! I love talking about these things in songs because its real to me, and real to a lot of people. I believe that one can alleviate suffering by talking about the things people are going through. It's actually a tough challenge for me to write happy songs, so this is the lane I've been given. anyways, thanks for the kind words dimestop!

Strong track, I like your vocal and the background vocal (female? or head voice?) works really well with it.

Good luck with the album/tape, I know how much work and frustration it is and also how much energy it can give you when finally finished!

Thanks BaoBou! yes it is a sped up female vocal. I'm really looking forward to spending some time in the studio with proper equipment, it is a lot of tedious work but its going to cool to have some songs that aren't made in my basement lol. thanks for the good luck

Description : Hey guys! Something different this time. I pulled from my teenage angst for this. As well as listening to a lot of indie artists, Ryan caraveo being my favorite. Let me know what you guys think! I know this one isn't going to be too popular but hope you guys like it! I feel like it might be a little bass heavy but tell me what you guys think!

Description : To me this sounds like a late night jam when everyone in the band but the drummer is half toasted and things could fall apart any second. Funnily enough that's pretty much what it is only I'm the band. One take on guitars vocals and bass, minimal edits. Could be a complete mess could be not. Either way happy if you let me know.

Description : This track is a collaboration with another Looperman member, Salve Clements, a very talented vocalist from Australia. Salve wrote the lyrics and composed and recorded the vocal melody and lyrics.

In working on the mix, I simply wasn’t able to achieve a proper balance in the overall sound. So, I got some help from Wytse Gerichhausen of White Sea Studio in the Netherlands. He was able to fix the problems I had created and got it sounding the way I had hoped it would.

Description : In 2017 my little cousin took his own life. My entire family blamed themselves for it. Never questioning what he was going through or what he may have been feeling. For a long time, I wanted to create a song where I put myself in the shoes of someone hurting. This song has a long way to go before it's finished. I wanted to share what I have thus far in hopes it inspires me to finish it.

This particular poem consists of two 1000 year old Japanese "renga", short "word flowers" about the autumn rains. They inspired me... and I hope you will like them too.
