Description : I wanted to produce some LoFi sounding Music. I guess it turned out quite catchy. Feel free to use it on your VT videos or elsewhere but please give credit to Vintage Nights
great work bro excellent production great vibes the mood setting bounces great percs dropping the instruments sing together and the vocal ad-libs are spot on nice job indeed
Very cool song ... kinda retro one, time travelling back to the 80's ... the mood is outstanding ... spoken words give special bouquet for it ...
all in all, unique track ...
hats off,
Danke
Hello Oli,
very nice catchy and lasting song! It's fun to hear him. To my ears the mix and master are balanced, good and clean. It also corresponds to the sound I imagine for this genre. If the whole song was mixed with just headphones, then these headphones must be excellent. *smile All attention!
Best regards
Manuela
Vielen Dank, Manuela. I am able to put a raw mix with my Headphone together but when it comes to bass, Kicks and Reverbs I need some bigger speaker cones and a real room to listen in :-)
Definitely turned out to be catchy! :) I guess it is kind of lofi, but for me it's got an 80's synth pop feel to it - and I'm becoming more and more immersed in exploring that era and genre. I know that melodies have become far more complex in current releases, but there's also something to be said for simpler melody lines that are memorable and singable.
Anyway, obviously I really liked this track. Is that you on the spoken word vocal? Great voice. I'd love to find a way to use something like that on one of my tracks.
My only quibble with the track, and I do hesitate to say this given your background in audio, is that I think the various sounds/instruments blend together too much. I think perhaps it's the amount of reverb on the synth pads, or maybe just the level of the pads in the mix. I'd also like to hear the bass part more distinctly in the mix. But, that's all because it's got that 80's feel to it for me and that's the kind of mix they would have done for a track like this I think.
Hi Eric, thanks for the reply. Yes it's me doing the spoken voice at the beginning and the end. Unfortunately it was in the middle of the night and I did master the track with too loud headphones only. You could not listen on Speakers or just set it to mono :-) My mistake. Redone the track now, will reload it and it should all be fine. I like the 80s melodies too but I found that sometimes less is more. If you need some spoken voice of me just get in touch. Cheers, Oli (obviously not native English)
Duuuude you are very creative with your use of these sounds. I am so impressed with this production. This track immersed me into another world I feel like. I like it!
oooh this sounds so beautiful! I like the spoken words in the beginning actually every thing about the track has this air of mystery 1:20 mark made my ears perk up with that gorgeous sound of the flute. All in All a most splendid! track wow nice!

This is the first track ever to get 150+ comments on LM, and the most played track on LM (also first to get 10k plays).

Description : The guy who ordered this track didn't pay and doesn't respond to my messages.
So I deleted a private link and decided to upload this track here. The quest was to catch the old-school vibe of detectives of the 50s-60s in the track\loop for 30-40 seconds.
Any way job was done. It is recorded fully live on real instruments, about 3 hours of composing and recording.
Description : sad boi pop song I wrote awhile back.
Feel free to let me know your thoughts as well as use this for non profit purposes.. and share your work if you use it!! This is one of my uncompleted works & I'm always open to collabs so contact me if you're interested!
