Description : OK so thanks to the Sesame St theme song, I finally came up with words and melody for this old instrumental track (original still on my profile). Guitars, vocals, keys and synth by Zoot. Pseudoble provided some stealthy synth. Wake and bake people....

If you have time take a listen and give Zootman some feedback.
Really love the tune its so 60's trippy feeling like I'm on a cloud talking to rainbows and clouds.
I rally love the slow pace and guitar and really slow drum beat. And your voice fits it perfectly.
Really nice work Zootman.
Greetings, Gotta love the guitar play on this one. It has a nice ring to it which i do like and appreciate. So yes this was nice to listen to. So well done Zoot. Have a good one. Verdi
the inspiration behind this is wonderful Chris, its a stoners track alright, ive got a big cheesy grin on my face literally, im surprised you didn't fall over singing it, roll a joint and all your troubles disappear, love it mate, so chilled it was boiling hot, nice uploaded and a great listen just before i retire to bed :)
no one is doing stuff like this around here in my area, that is 100rtain....is it the meatpuppets im thinking of? or the flaming lips? silverchair? shit idk lol
maybe the spirit of all of them, a little bit
ha, defies categorization lol. xstokes (Michael) a year or two ago, thought the instrumental version was in the vein of tom verlaines instrumental records. Not sure cause I don't know his music really, but stokes was often pretty on the money.
I was wondering, as i heard this again, wtf is it that it reminds me so strongly of? I Think Mr.Driver down there is on the right track, but its even more specific for me - like it reminds me of a time i used to go and hear bands play every Friday night, in my teen years, right before i started playing shows myself. Its not a feeling i get often, but its awesome. Im neglecting part of my musical past, and this gave me a smack for it lol. i think maybe another experiment for me is slowly brewing. Thanks to how unique u guys are.
Hey Aaron, I can honestly say I don't set out to make different or weird stuff, it's just what comes out. I'd like to make something that doesn't sound like me, but it's hard lol. Thanks for coming back mate. I'm quite excited about that track I have you but can't see having much time to work on it for the next week or three. Ciao.
Thanks very much Richard. The vocals were funny, I did them sitting at the kitchen table after the children had gone to bed. I had to be quiet, so I cranked the level up on the mic input and really just murmured into the mic. But I think that proximity effect worked well, makes it sound quite intimate maybe. Cheers Chris
Very good Mr. Zootman great instrumentation and crispy vocals. Sharp lyrics. Psedudoble collaboration. Wake and bake, perhaps tomorrow, I have a dab pen that I recently found inside my families living room recliner. And hey, its the weekend tomorrow. Just took a long hiatus from the THC consumption. I will for sure be zooted, once I start taking some hits of that thing, if I ever get around to doing so. I have been taking a vitamin elixir that seems to be doing excellent things for me. I have been up to a lot, I played a lot of golf this summer, the season is coming to a close. Though, I think I will be getting tropical soon enough and out of the cold, I have been to Puerto Rico, the past three winters. It is always a great time there. I have a new track coming, its always a challenge for me to select one of my recent works, I have a unique track id like to upload and its sort of a new genre of rap, its titled the Civil Disobedience Opera Tape, its eight minutes of rap no hook. I am going to try to upload it. I'm not sure looperman will accept the file though. If you want to hear it, its on my soundcloud @ Johnnie Smoke. I created a new account and all my uploads will be under this profile, until I hit the 50 song mark and need to register for a third account. Its okay Billy Wake and Bake. I noted some words to live by recently, 'Strive to be a rembrandt, and if your not a rembrandt by the day you're set to retire, you are not ready to retire.', Nice song.
Hi there JS, nice to hear from you after some time. Yeah in reality, I don't indulge much anymore really. But I still know the feeling lol. I'll look out for your new one. It's a sunny Saturday here and I'm in front of the computer trying to meet a deadline for a report damn it. Puerto Rico sounds nice, some good surf there too!! Cheers Chris
You want to know what's so great about this song? I mean, aside from the fact that the lyrics were inspired by Sesame St. It sounds like it could be track #11 on any given alt/Grunge CD from 1994. You know, the one that's kind of acts as a break after all the hits, but before the one or two that never got airplay, but go harder than the rest.
It's cool, really. This is a new song, (comparatively), but it still took me back as if I had been listening to it for 30 years.
Excellent work, my friend.
Take care.

Any more laid back and it would fall over lol, though it's probably half way there. I figured this one probably wouldn't have any sort of mass appeal, like most of my stuff, but to the right ears I hoped it might be candy....Thanks for the listen and comment/fav etc. Much appreciated mate.
Thanks Matthias, much appreciated. Yeah I always wanted to sing on this one, the instrumental was uploaded over a year ago I think, but I only just found the way....I have a couple more I'm working on that require some singing, but haven't written the lyrics or found the time to experiment. Cheers mate, Chris
Yeah I guess the chord progression is kind of bluesy. I've just been listening a little more critically and realized I'm pretty flat in a few places. But maybe in this song it doesn't matter, hopefully, since it's half way between singing and spoken word. Cheers Chris
Wow this is exceptionally well hypnotizing too I love the sounds on this man your voice is good I like it a lot you do have that wake n bake touch alright! Give what you want and take what you need!!! Super dope! Euphoric alright!
Hey CCC, I loved the synth part that Pseudoble came up with, its the breathy/bassy one that it is pretty subtle but is there if you lean in and listen. And the weird little synth on the right side was some sort of happy accident with midi which I played on one synth, then swapped the synth vst for another - the upshot being the midi getting confused and producing not the noise it was supposed to. But i though it fit so went with it. Cheers Chris
Well, guys, 1st I wanted to say that Im glad u two have teamed up they way u have, ur like the Fantastic 2 instead of the Fantastic 4 loml. U really compliment one another well, and I remember having that thought a few times in the past, that u guys should be working together.
Secondly, LMAO idk wat to say man. Its just too singular an experience to be able to say anything. And Ive just expect that when i see who is behind the track Im listening to. And to be able to make me smile, as well? Good shit both of you, seriously. I wish very much that I could come join u and show u how This American Dude does wake & bake, and have a jam session afterwards, i dont get to have a gargage band-like experience very much these days, & i kno exactly how it would feel - Fkn awesome. Much Love man. - Aaron
Yeah man, stoner garage band alright. That would be a hoot, to wake n bake with you one day....Did a nice colab with Manuela the other day too, called Starman. I played a bit more lead guitar on that track you're maybe mucking with by the way. But haven't edited it yet.
Description : Hey guys! Something different this time. I pulled from my teenage angst for this. As well as listening to a lot of indie artists, Ryan caraveo being my favorite. Let me know what you guys think! I know this one isn't going to be too popular but hope you guys like it! I feel like it might be a little bass heavy but tell me what you guys think!
Description : To me this sounds like a late night jam when everyone in the band but the drummer is half toasted and things could fall apart any second. Funnily enough that's pretty much what it is only I'm the band. One take on guitars vocals and bass, minimal edits. Could be a complete mess could be not. Either way happy if you let me know.
Description : This track is a collaboration with another Looperman member, Salve Clements, a very talented vocalist from Australia. Salve wrote the lyrics and composed and recorded the vocal melody and lyrics.
In working on the mix, I simply wasn’t able to achieve a proper balance in the overall sound. So, I got some help from Wytse Gerichhausen of White Sea Studio in the Netherlands. He was able to fix the problems I had created and got it sounding the way I had hoped it would.
Description : sticking with Cyberflares, hope this is a surprise Robin, as an artist i believe certain tracks are made for you and this is one off them
his track Smacking Hard he posted as rap,
bro this was so more powerful than rap, this smacks hard :))
Description : You need some emotions? Then you are just right here! I am not sure what kind of feelings you will get but i am sure you will get some intense ones. -- Older track that some how got lost in the looperversum. But here it is again --
Description : In 2017 my little cousin took his own life. My entire family blamed themselves for it. Never questioning what he was going through or what he may have been feeling. For a long time, I wanted to create a song where I put myself in the shoes of someone hurting. This song has a long way to go before it's finished. I wanted to share what I have thus far in hopes it inspires me to finish it.
Description : Now out as part of an EP on Spotify, iTunes and all the other ones. Thanks for all your encouragement, it means the world to me!
==========================
This particular poem consists of two 1000 year old Japanese "renga", short "word flowers" about the autumn rains. They inspired me... and I hope you will like them too.
Description : found a couple loops by bradosanz and made an indie rock track. let me know what you think in the comments, especially ways i could improve it or if you like it. thanks!
Description : I tried an indie rock / songwriter etc. track, trying new genres.
Haven't posted in a while but just wanted to hear feedback here!
It's also out of Spotify and YouTube and Apple Music and Soundcloud for anyone who wants to listen.
Description : Made this a few months back but just added some vocals - well a few different ones : )
Like the sound but as track it still lacks a bit of structure
Feedback welcome
I just love your warm voice.
The music is also great.
Overall a beautiful track
I rally love the slow pace and guitar and really slow drum beat. And your voice fits it perfectly.
Really nice work Zootman.
