If you have time take a listen and give Mykael some feedback.
I liked the vibe of this from the get-go. Nice and spare leaving lots of room for your wonderful vocal to breath. I could really hear some female backing vocals on this if you have a chorus of some sort. Hope we get to hear the finished version. Cheers Chris
Hello Mykael, that's a particularly beautiful track, even if it's probably still unfinished. I really like your intonation... it's always as if you're truly melting into the song. That really shows the qualities of a true singer.
Peace,
Micky
I just love this music, but you stopped it so soon...it is a great soul song. It does have all those ingredients to just be a success.
Wish you all the best, Anthony
Now THIS is soul! That vocal is very haunting and I enjoyed this listen. Whose the bassist? They be GROOVIN and chillin in the pocket. That organ is so sweet on the top too. Great work! Feels timeless.
Yes, I Love that Chord Structure. You have the beginnings of a Monster song my friend. I was thinking you do the verses 2 in a row, then instead of a chorus, do a bridge like Queen did with the song Mother Love. Also, bring that organ up in the mix. Had to listen again to capture the subtleties of this one. Great Work! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CHxldQhQCA
Helly cool Mykal! :-)
That bass is smooth (criminal) :-) and the whole flow is pretty good. Let"s find some overwhelming chorus with polyphonic vocals and it"ll be the SOUND OF SOUL!!!
Faved with my fistbump,
Danke
Hey Mykael, Man... I really, really like your voice and your style of soul and the way you sing it. I recall getting hip to you not too long ago and being very impressed. I described you as a sort of earthy / laid back but very potent soul singer.
One in which your effect stays with the listener long after the song has ended. Don't be fooled by the punk track you just reviewed, I cover a lot of different gernes on my upcoming album, of which I worked with a few male and female singers doing ballads, pop and R&B.
There's a pretty ballad on the album called "When The Love Is Gone" that I worked with this talented singer named Angela Castleberry, she really brought the song to life. I'm thinking at some point we may need to work on something in the near future. Wishing you all the best in your endeavors,
Peace

Description : This is my little 16-bar sketch of a Soul-style track... my purpose in making this was to experiment with Melda's MDynamicEQ, which allows you to remove resonances, and to apply EQ's from one track to another. I even EQ'd this thing to sound like a 70's jam.
Description : Here is another track we are currently working on for my forthcoming album, "Songs from the Closet, Vol.1"
Ed Cunningham was gracious enough to provide this composition to me for which I'm grateful. It's a groovy track and the lyrics, for the most part, wrote themselves. My project co-producer and I are working out the vocal arrangement. As per usual, this track isn't mixed. I repeat, it is a rough vocal and isn't mixed. I hope you enjoy the listen!
Description : "The Light of My Soul," written and produced by Richard Shekari, is a devout worship song that celebrates the transformative power of Jesus Christ. The lyrics express profound gratitude for divine intervention and salvation, highlighting the personal journey from despair to fulfilment through Christ's love.
Description : This song is a work of my late big brother RIP., Who happen to be a gifted poet-songwriter. I did the vocal as well as the music based on written notation witch, he always provided for his productions. Hope this song is appreciated. Going to redo in the future.
Description : I actually love the slight imperfections in the muzic, the slight imperfections in the vocals. As long as it’s ok with nln1 I will allow downloads, but even then I would prefer a better mix. For now, enjoy Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel.
I would be willing to send the accapella if you are willing to play in same key, same tempo, some similar version as here. Just message me. :-)
Peace,
Micky
