Description : A sparse, spacious song about childhood summers in Illinois.
Heavy use of a couple of Dj4Real's pads, a Bols loops by Ensam, some guitar loops from here that no longer seem to be around, plus some sound fx and a few other sweet sounds I found.

Really enjoyed the trippy spaceyness! Nice panning and fx. Good job. A shame I could'nt download as I wanted to work it into an ambient mix I'm doin. Good work A!
Thx! This is one of my favorite pieces and very personal to me, so I've been pretty protective of it. Might be willing to trade you something for it though if you email me...
I love the Indain vocal editing! I really appreciate music that embraces life, and has a personal story (i don't write music personally as a rule if it doesn't signify something important to me)
N0mad23 sent me btw... Thanks Sean!!
Dopeness how you are getting upped by some of major users on looperman. Nice!
You should check out SienSystem when you get a free chance, he very very much does ambient style stuff that you would dig (i think)
Mastering I think could be worked on, because I can internally hear a lot of headroom. (I am that jacckass that gets in your car and won't stop messing with your EQ lol)
My ears feel like this is maxing around -3 decibels...
Another little thought, and not big, but on the bugs, you should try layering some stuff on there.. maybe introduce a melody...
anyway
thank you for making this!
Wow, thanks for the great review! I have indeed noticed the props from the big dogs. I'm basking in the glory while trying not to let it go to my head, haha. Um, and also trying not to feel intimidated about coming up with new stuff. Not sure I can make another ambient piece as good as this one! It was one of those effortless and inspired moments, almost like the piece was making itself. So... we'll see, I guess.
This was only the second song I ever put together, so at the time I didn't even know what Mastering was, and I have lost the original file, so I'd have to build it from scratch again if I wanted to mess with that. Actually, that could be why there's so much headroom. Since I lost the original work, I think I rendered this version from Acid off of an mp3 that had found its way into iTunes. Messy.
You seem like the kinda guy who could appreciate a nice tube amp for his receiver. I like that!
Thanks again for stopping by. I'll give you my thoughts when I get to your tracks in a bit. I just added you on myspace too!
Ha! Yeah, I am guessing I take your loops in a different direction than you're used to. :) (I use your stuff in a few of my other tunes, too.) Thanks for supplying such fun material to work with!
Nice, ya, brought back a few memories for me too! I hear a lot of the sounds in this song when I kayak, except for the Indian guy and the synths, lol!! It's almost time to get the boat out there again and your song really got me psyched for summer.
Very well put together, enjoyed it a lot but no dl, bummer. Thanks for sharing!
This song is pretty special to me, so no dl's at this point! But I'm glad you liked! The synths kind of simulate the heaviness in the air, the humidity, don't you think? Thanks for comments!
Far out! With this track alone, I've got to say you're a great addition to the community. Welcome!
The illusion you've created is indeed complexity hidden in the sparse. The use of field recordings and samples while maintaining a musical sense is awesome (and hard to do well). The vocals are almost reminiscent of the Balinese Kecak Dance/Chant.
I'd put this in Ambient instead of Weird, as it deliberately and successfully creates a particular emotional state in the listener.
Much thanks. Each of my pieces tells a certain story, and to me, this piece is a landscape. Corn fields, tree swings, the humid charged air before a lightening storm. Thanks for the tip about genres!
Haha, listen more closely. There is a thunderstorm! The sounds all correlate to childhood experiences-- keys dropped, robins singing, thunderstorms, cicadas, a voice that seems to be telling me to "leave, leave." (I was never meant for the midwest.) A tiger roar would have been appropriate too, as I was once the school mascot for a basketball game. We were the Central Tigers. Thanks for listening.

Description : the other end of the scale from me, yep people, this is a ballad. its for all the people who have lost somebody long before their time was due,
i used my experience of tragic loss and how i hid my mental health issues that stemmed from it while writing it, its repetitive but has fresh verses
its to Matthias music Du Bist Nicht Mehr Hier almost the same title, He has suffered too that's why he wrote the music and dedicated it to his brother. i hope i have done it justice
Description : This track contains several loops, all of them are from looperman artists - listed below. I don't know if "ambient" fits well for it, but i get most loops from that category. :)
Inspired by the Final Fantasy series and my ex girlfriend. Hope you will enjoy it (not my ex! :D). As always, free to use for a song, any opinions-critics welcomed... UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!

Post script: The word "Ambient" has come up several times in the comment section for this, so I switched the genre to that. Thanks for the input. I really appreciate it.
Description : I made this with Garageband and was inspired by Anime music, such as Naruto. And if you noticed one little part is very similar to one of the melodies.
Description : ambient, guess i was trying to blur the lines between soundscape and music or something like that. will still edit here and there. put it on, lie back and sift. bass loop from LM's megapaul - darktimes and danwilson - drug induced crush
Description : Depression and sadness can sometimes serve as motivation for creativity as in the case of this track. A few months back I went through a period of loosing a few friends and co-workers. Attended a few funerals and as a result found myself reflecting on life. One night I had the urge to try to transfer my feelings into music and this is what came out. Some baratone guitar accompanied by synth and accapella.
Final EDIT: Further tweaking on levels and a slight change up in the timimg of the choir section.
Description : Hello,
this is a track between composition and cover.
Amandine (Sova Berry or Dine on soundcloud) made a cover of the a cappella "Song of Sophia" by Dead Can Dance.
I liked it very much, so i decided to make an instrumental with her vocals.
Hope you'll like it and if you want to comment, you are welcome, whatever you think.
Bye

A very effective piece, well done.
